In 2007 local self-government bodies achieved important successes on increasing incomes of local budgets, just due to more independent, given to local self-government, and interest when forming and implementation local budgets.
The President of the Kyrgyz Republic K. Bakiev has signed a Law of the KR "On basic rates of land tax for using agricultural holding, plot of land, suburban land, land of population aggregates and land of non-agricultural purpose for 2008".
